14. Image Quality
1) Purpose
To check the CXDI final image quality
To check that the images are not affected by extraneous magnetic noise (emanating from
CT or MRI apparatus, CRT monitors and other equipment that generate magnetic fields
near the sensor unit)
2) Purpose

(2) High-resolution monitor or DICOM printer
<Procedure>
Procedure/Item Operation/Conditions
1. Adjust the distance between the focal point of the X-
ray tube and the CXDI sensor unit.
X cm: Differs according to the grid being used.
2. Perform calibration
SYSTEM > CALIBRATION
ƒ
Perform calibration and note that phototimer and
other parts except for grid that are located in the X-
ray entrance surface must be installed in advance.
ƒ Do not install the grid.
3. Install the grid.
ƒ Check the grid installation angle.
