M16 (cassette1 lifter motor)
Rotates for lifterup operation for 3 sec, and then
stops. (Return the lifter by hand.)

M17 (cassette2 lifter motor)
Rotates for lifterup operation for 3 sec, and then
stops. (Return the lifter by hand.)

M1 (multifeeder lifter motor)
Rotates for lifterup operation for 3 sec, stops for 3 sec,
rotates for lifterdown operation for 3 sec, and then
stops.

M2 (paper deck lifter motor)
Rotates for lifterdown operation for 10 sec, rotates for
lifterup operation for 10 sec, and then stops.

Registration shutter motor
Executes a single registration shutter open/close
operation.

Y/C/Bk image correction mirror
Ratio correction motor (M3, M6,
M8)
Operates the image correction mirror, and generates a
test pattern (PG=06, grid); then, returns the mirror to
original position. (Each motor may be assumed to be
operating normally if a discrepancy exists between the
M grid and the grid of each color.)
Pickup will be from the cassette 1; be sure to put A4/
LTR paper in the cassette in advance.

Slant correction motor (M2, M5,
M7)

M38(cassette1 pickup motor)
The motor operates for 10 sec, stops for 3 sec, and then
operates for a further 10 sec before it stops.

The motor operates for 10 sec, stops for 3 sec, and then

The motor operates for 10 sec, stops for 3 sec, and then

M2(buffer unit reversal motor)
The motor operates for 10 sec, stops for 3 sec, and then
operates for a further 10 sec before it stops.

Transfer belt cleaning web
motor(M12)
The motor operates for 10 sec, stops for 3 sec, and then
operates for a further 10 sec before it stops.

Paper deck swing motor (M3)
The machine drives the swing motor for 20 sec to fan
out the sheets of paper, and then stops it; as the same
drive signal is used, the paper fanning fan also goes on.
