12. NETWORK SERVICE SETUP menu
The NETWORK SERVICE SETUP menus allow you to establish network services for your print-
er.
The submenus in the NETWORK SERVICE SETUP menus are shown below. (Default values
are in the square brackets.)

Options Remarks
Select “YES” if you have a Novell net-
work connected to the printer and if
you have already configured a
NetWare printer, a print server, and
one or more print queue objects for
print jobs.
Select “YES” to enable NetWare
Directory Services (NDS).
Displayed when “ENABLE PSERVER”
is set to “YES”.
Select “YES” to view a list of NDS
trees.
Displayed when “ENABLE NDS” is set
to “YES”.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
select a tree from the NDS tree list.
This alert message warns you that the
Bindery setup for the tree you select-
ed will be deleted.
Select “YES” if you wish to delete the
Bindery setup for the previously
selected tree.
Displayed when ENTER key is pressed
in “NEW TREE DELETES BINDERY
SETUP!”
Specifies whether or not to find the
file server on the NDS tree you wish
to login to.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
select an login object.
Displayed when “LOGIN TO BROWSE”
is set to “YES”.
Select NDS object.
The current path of the previously
selected object appears in the top line
of the message area, and the first item
in the list of scrollable objects appears
in the second line.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
select a login name.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
enter the password.
To advance to the NDS TREE NAME
OBJECT LIST screen, press ENTER
key.
