Toner Level Detection PCBs (emitter
and receiver)
1) Remove the left cover unit.
2) Unhook the 3 claws, disconnect the
connector, and then remove the toner
level detection PCB (emitter). Unhook
the 2 claws, disconnect the connector,
and then remove the toner level detec-
tion PCB (receiver).

When replacing the toner level

1) Remove the shield plate according to
the DC controller PCB removal proce-
dure 1) through 2) on page 3-59.
2) Remove the cable from the cable clip.
3) Remove the screw, and remove the
waste toner full detection unit.
