Registering Sender’s Names
You can register an individual name, as the sender’s name. Register the sender’s name
when you want to print a name other than the unit’s name as the sender’s record on the
recording paper.
NOTE

Printing the sender’s name, instead of the unit’s name, on the sender’s record can be set using the
Sender’s Names mode from the Special Features screen. (See ‘Sending a Document with the
Sender’s Name Printed on the Recording Paper (Sender’s Names (TTI)),’ on p. 3-14.)

Call up the desired screen as follows:

Select the number (item) under which you want to register the
sender’s name, and press “Store.”
You can store up to 99 Sender’s Names (01 to 99).
Seven numbers appear on the screen at a time. If the desired number is not displayed,
press “
▲
” or “
▼
.”
You can also enter and specify the numeber of the sender’s name using
-
(numeric
keys).
To delete stored sender’s names, select the numbers under which the names are
registered, and press “Erase.”
