Output device list. Make sure that your computer
sound card is highlighted and at the top of the
list. If this doesn’t work, try choosing different
output devices, one at a time, to see if any of
them produces sound.

Make sure you have installed and tested each
card according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
You may have too many MIDI drivers.
Make sure you only install the drivers that you
need, and remove any old or unused drivers. To
access the driver list, choose

then double-click Multimedia
and click on the Advanced tab.

Make sure that the driver you have installed is
the correct driver for your hardware. Also try
downloading and installing the latest driver
release from your hardware manufacturer.
