Behaviour
The module calculates the function value of the vale on

. The curve progression is
determined as linear slope between two points as follows (see also the graphic below):
The first point results from the values of the

(x-coordinate) and of the

(y-coordinate).
Analogue to this, the second point is defined by the values of the

(y-coordinate).
If the point coordinates are invalidly configured (e.g. x-values identical) the result 1 (logical
"true") is output on

.
The internal data type of the module is Number. If necessary, incoming values are converted
into the internal data type before the calculation (see conversion table below).
