 shows an example of the boundary scan register and the shadow register for most of the pins on the

part. All the pins apart from HyperTransport use this input/output pin building block. It consists of three BC_1
scan cells, one for the output, one for the output enable and one for the input. The Mode signal causes the
JTAG to drive both the INTEST and EXTEST data.
