2.4.3 Multi-View PixPad
The upper right side of the Multi-View has PixPads of thumbnails which
correspond to the active PixPads on the control panel, call the Multi-View PixPads.
Since there are 2 Device Controls on the Control Panel, there are PixPads on the
Multi-View, one for Device Control-A and one for Device Control-B.
As the panel changes its PixPad to a content device, the Multi-View displays the
thumbnails associated with the device. Content devices are Clips, Stills, CG and
Logos. In the illustration below, the PixPad A is set to Stills 1.
Each PixPad had a right-click menu to select which Device (A, B or None) is tied to the
Multi-View. Simply right-click on the bottom of the PixPad, with the mouse,
to change which device control that PixPad is linked to. If None is selected then the
PixPad will not automatically follow the panel, this may be useful in a team operation
where a PixPad is always dedicated to one device.
The thumbnails make it easy to select any content element at the press of a button.
When selected, the Panel PixPad tallies red if on-air and orange if not, the PixPad on
the control panel will always tally red, no matter if the content is on or off air, use the
Multi-View to check tally status. If a device has more than 9 content elements, the next
page of elements can be reached from the control panel by pressing the [Next] button
on the control panel PixPad, or by clicking on the buttons in the lower right hand
corner of the Multi-View PixPad.
