2.1.2 2 M/E Control Panel Overview

The Broadcast Pix 2 M/E Control Panel has a classic layout of a traditional 2 M/E panel
on the left side, plus direct access to Broadcast Pix devices on the right side of the
panel. There are 16 direct input source buttons, plus access to 16 more inputs with a
shift, for a total of 32 inputs.

The top section of the control panel consists of 2 buses: the Source and Destination
Rows, which correspond with the display row below them. They are used to change key
and aux assignments.

The middle and bottom of the panel consists of 2 ME banks, each of which consists of 3
buses: Display/Function Row, Program Row & Preview Row. In addition to a transition
section to preview/transition all key layers, plus 6 direct keys.

The top middle section of the panel consists of Device Control-B, which includes a
PixPad, 4 Motion Controls, 4 multi-purpose Knobs, 3 Switcher Controls and a Display.
These are all used to control various switcher devices, see section 2.4.1.
