4.4.1 Key Controls
The Broadcast Pix panel provides three groups of buttons for controlling the 6 keys:
Key Select Buttons, Direct Key Buttons and Key Transition Buttons. The Source Row
and Display Row are also used with the Key Select Buttons.

ME 2 Direct Key Buttons:
Displays the key content and tally
Manually turn keys on and off on ME 2
Display Row:
To see the input and content names of all source inputs
Source Row Buttons:
For use with the Key Select Buttons to
change which device is assigned to a key
Key Select Buttons in the Destinations Row:
For assigning the Device Controls to a
Key and for use with the Sources Row
to change which device is assigned to a Key
ME 2 Key Transition Buttons:
For including keys in transitions,
also previews a key in ME 2
ME 1 Direct Key Buttons:
Displays the tally status
Manually turn keys on and off on ME 1
ME 1 Key Transition Buttons:
For including keys in transitions,
also previews a key in ME 1
Each of the 6 Keyers is treated as a device, so pressing any one of the six Key Select
buttons assigns Device Control-B to that Key, including: Joystick, 4 knobs, PixPad and
the LED display.
