– When using system events, make sure as little code as pos‐
sible is processed.
– Only the event tasks described here can be used.
● PositionLoop Event
The PositionLoop Event is available with the corresponding IW package
(e.g., MLDPosLoopDevice_V18.5.4.0.iwpackage). The IW package with
the PositionLoop Event can be installed later, since the ordinary installa‐
tion contains the MLD package without the PositionLoop Event.
I/O variables cannot be accessed with the PositionLoop Event.
I/O variables can be indirectly accessed in two ways:

Reading the I/Os in the cyclic task and copying them to the
flag. Accessing the flag in the PositionLoop Event.
– Directly accessing parameters in the PositionLoop Event
(when this has to be done quickly).
