10.10 SENT Trigger and Serial Decode
This section covers triggering and decoding SENT signals. Please read the following
for more details:
SENT Signal Configuration , SENT Trigger and SENT Serial
Decode .
Connect the SENT signal to the oscilloscope, set the mapping relation between the
channels and the signals.
10.10.1 SENT Signal Configuration
To select the decoding Bus Protocol :
1. Press the Decode key or use the touchscreen controls to enter the Decode Menu .
2. Use the touchscreen to enable Bus Operation .
3. Use the touchscreen to select Bus Protocol .
4. The window shown in figure 10.1 will appear with the addition of the Manchester
protocol.
5. Select the SENT bus protocol.
Protocol Signals
To set the source and threshold of the SENT signal use the touchscreen to select
Protocol Signal :
1. The SENT SIGNAL menu will be displayed. (Figure 10.50 )
2. Use the touchscreen to select Source and select the source the signal is connected to.
3. Use the touchscreen to select Threshold and input the desired threshold
– The threshold voltage level is for decoding, and it will be regarded as the trigger
voltage level when the trigger type is set to serial.
– The threshold level line only appears when adjusting the threshold level.
4. Touch option to return previous menu.
