Appendix A.3 - Setting the network number for BACnet/IP
The network number for BACnet/IP can be changed when more than one ProtoNode is on the same subnet.
On the main Web Configurator screen, update the network number in the "network_nr" parameter and click
Submit
. Note that the
default value is 50.

Appendix A.4 - LED diagnostics
The following describes LED diagnostics for Modbus RTU communications between the ProtoNode and devices.
See the diagram below for ProtoNode RER LED locations.
Diagnostic LEDs

RTC
Unused
RUN
The RUN LED will start flashing 20 seconds after power up, indicating normal operation.
ERR
The SYS ERR LED will turn on solidly 15 seconds after power up. It will turn off after five (5) seconds. A steady red light
indicates there is a system error on the ProtoNode. If this occurs, immediately report the related “system error” shown on
the error screen of the GUI interface to FieldServer Technologies for evaluation.
RX
The RX LED will flash when a message is received on the host port.
TX
The TX LED will flash when a message is sent on the host port.
PWR
This is the power light. It should show steady green at all times when the ProtoNode is powered.
