Use a pressure gauge and hydraulic hose
which can withstand the pressure of 17.2 MPa
(175.4 kgf/cm
2
) (2494.6 psi) or more.
Prepare and assemble branched joint 1/2
and adapter 1013-6.
Wrap the adapter with seal tape.

Apply the parking brake, and then lower the
mower unit to the ground.
Set the reel forward/reverse switch to
"Forward."
Remove the hydraulic hose from the gear
motor of mower unit #1.
The hydraulic hose to remove is on the
front side.

Install branched joint 1/2 so that it is
inserted between the gear motor coupling
and hydraulic hose.
At this time, install it so that the tip of
adapter 1013-6 attached to the branched
joint is toward the front.

Install the pressure gauge for high pressure
measurements to adapter 1013-6.
Secure the pressure gauge to the main
vehicle with string so that it does not fall.

Insert a wooden board into the reel cutter
so that the reel cutter does not rotate.
Be sure to use a wooden board that is
adequately strong so that it is secure
against the front stay.
