Important
Use a pressure gauge and hydraulic hose
which can withstand the pressure of 13.7 MPa
(139.7 kgf/cm
2
) (1987.0 psi) or more.
Prepare and assemble branched joint 1/4
and adapter 1013-6.
Wrap the adapter with seal tape.

Apply the parking brake, and then lower the
mower unit to the ground.
Remove the hydraulic hose from the up/
down cylinder of mower unit #5.
The hydraulic hose to remove is on the shaft
side.

Install branched joint 1/4 so that it is inserted
between the up/down cylinder coupling and
hydraulic hose.
At this time, install it so that the tip of adapter
1013-6 attached to the branched joint is
toward the top.

Start the engine, and allow the hydraulic oil
temperature to increase to the same
temperature as during ordinary use.
Check that there is no hydraulic oil leaking
from the location where the pressure gauge
was installed.
Sit on the driver's seat.
Rev the engine up to the maximum rpm.
Move the up/down lever to the up side to
raise the mower unit.
At this time, be careful that the mower unit
does not come into contact with the person
holding the pressure gauge.
When the mower unit has raised to the
uppermost position, move the up/down lever
to up again.
At this time, measure the pressure.
The up/down circuit relief valve pressure is
set to 13.7 MPa (139.7 kgf/cm
2
) (1987.0 psi).
