Adjustment of Proximity Switches /#4
Mower, /#5 Mower
The proximity switch /#4 mower and
proximity switch /#5 mower detect the
respective positions of the #4 mower unit
and #5 mower unit lift arms.
During work, this signal operates in
coordination with three sensors - the #4, #5
mower unit up stop position detection, #2, #3
mower unit down start position detection,
and proximity switch /#1 mower - to control
the rotation start position of the front mower
unit reel cutter.
Follow the steps below to make adjustments.
Important
Adjust proximity switch /#4 mower and
proximity switch /#5 mower so that the point at
which the proximity switches begin reacting is
at the specified angle.
Adjustment of Proximity Switch /#4 Mower
Check that the proximity sensor magnet
installed on the #4 lift arm is installed
correctly.
Note:
Replace it if it is damaged, and secure it
with quick setting adhesive so that the
bottom surface of the magnet is parallel
with the parallel line A as shown in the
figure.

Start the engine, and raise and lower the
mower unit so that the #4 mower unit
makes contact with the #4, 5 unit guide
roller in a position with angle A.
Note:
The angle of adjustment may differ
depending on the type of mower unit.

Stop the engine and move the key switch
to the "ON" position.
Set the traveling/working selector switch
to "Working."
