4. Troubleshooting
Code 10641: “ingest scan - invalid source url - cannot scan source” (Error)
Situation Solution
The scan failed because the
source URL is not correctly
formatted. Check the remote storage settings for the selected source.
The scan failed because the
source is using a protocol
that is not supported by the
current ICMP version. Check the ICMP version and the protocol de fi ned in the settings.
Code 10642: “ingest scan - connection to source failed - cannot scan source”
(Error)
Situation Solution
The scan failed because the
source refers to an invalid
server. Check the settings for the selected source.
The scan failed because the
source refers to a server that
rejects the connection. Check that the remote server is running properly, check its con fi guration
and logs. Some remote servers may have a limited number of
connections or other restrictions.
The scan failed because the
network path from the ICMP
to the remote source is not
correct. Check the network con fi guration.
Code 10643: “ingest scan - timeout connecting to source - cannot scan source”
(Error)
Situation Solution
The scan failed because the
source refers to an invalid
server. Check the settings for the selected source.
The scan failed because the
source refers to a server that
rejects the connection. Check that the remote server is running properly, check its con fi guration
and logs. Some remote servers may have a limited number of
connections or other restrictions.
The scan failed because the
network path from the ICMP
to the remote source is not
correct. Check the network con fi guration.
Code 10644: “ingest scan - source scan not started - scan report not available”
(Error)
Situation Solution
There are no ingest scan
data available because the
scan of a source was not
properly started. The Barco (Web) Commander or TMS applications should start the
scan of a source before reading the scan report.
