FENCE DRO INSTALLATION AND CALIBRATION
The fence DRO (Digital Read Out) will display the distance the fence in moved from the zero
point. The DRO Zero point can be set to read zero when the fence is tight against the blade or
from any other position on the fence rail that the operator may want to measure from.
The DRO includes the DRO sensor, Magnetic Stripe with scale (preinstalled on front fence rail),
2 AA batteries, 2 cap screws, and 2 offset mounting brackets (not used for this application).
Note: The power consumption is very low and always on. When the battery low
mark
pops up, replace the batteries. Normal battery life is about 6 months.
Mounting the DRO
1. Remove the screw and battery cover from the
DRO. This allows slightly more access to the
mounting screws.
2. Position the DRO on top of the fence track bracket
to the right of the fence so that the sensor (A) is
positioned over the magnetic stripe.
3. Secure the DRO to the track bracket using the 2
cap screws (B) provide. The DRO may be
positioned anywhere within the slots that will allow
room for fingers between the DRO and the fence.
4. Install the batteries and cover. Secure with screw.
5. Perform the initial TUNE calibration.
