The “Feed” Parameters will change polarization and frequency band settings
where applicable.
Note - A complete alphabetical listing of configuration parameters can be found in
chapter 6. All parameters available to customers (level 4 and below) are also
defined in this chapter.
5.9 Profile Examples
The following section provides a number of examples of how to create new profiles.
5.9.1 Target Satellite selection
In preparation for making a profile, we need to select the satellite which we will be using for our
Target.
From the main screen:

In this example, the “Factory Test Profile” was created using Satellite AMC-9 @ 83W with Horizontal
Receive Polarization (selected). For the new profile example, we will use AMC-16 @ 85W using
Vertical Polarization. Select the “use” checkbox and click on the Pol setting twice to change the
receive Polarization. Once you press Save, the satellite will be available in the “Target Selection”
pulldown
