Avaya Spaces displays a list of contacts with whom you communicated recently.

Tap
to search for a Spaces contact in your recent contacts list.
3. To call a Spaces contact who is not in your recent contacts list, do the following:
a. On the
Direct Messages
tab, tap .
b. In the dialog box, type the name of the contact.
Avaya Spaces displays a list of matching names.
4. From the contacts list, select the person to call.
Avaya Spaces displays the direct space of the selected person.
5. Tap to make a Spaces digital video call to the selected person.
The call recipient gets a Spaces call alert on their Avaya Vantage
™
device.
6. Tap to call the selected person's line number using Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC
experience.
Note:
The built-in UC experience call ( ) is only available if you have a phone number
associated with a contact on the Avaya Spaces account.
When you select the phone number, the built-in UC experience displays the Dial pad
screen. On the Dial pad screen, you can choose whether to make an audio or video call.

Ensure that you log in to Avaya Spaces.
Procedure
Select one of the following when you receive a Spaces digital call alert:

Accept
: To answer the call.

Decline
: To reject the call.
If you are on an active call on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience and accept a Spaces call,
the call on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience is put on hold. You can tap on the Dial pad
to resume the call on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.
