Before you begin
Get your login credentials from the system administrator.
Procedure
1. Depending on what screen your device displays after the start-up, do one of the following
to bring up the Login screen:
• On the Home screen, tap
Sign In
.
This is only available if your administrator configures the Avaya Vantage
™
device to
display the Home screen after a start-up.
• Swipe upward on the initial Lock screen that is displayed after the start-up.
The device displays this screen instead of the Home screen if your administrator
enables the platform login mode.
2. In the
Username
field, enter your SIP or Avaya Aura
®
Device Services user name.
In an IP Office environment, you must enter your SIP extension number in this field.
3. In the
Password
field, enter your user password.
4.
(Optional)
In the
Authentication username
field, enter your SIP extension.
This field is only available in an Open SIP environment and its availability depends on the
settings your administrator configures.
5. Tap
Next
.
If you are using Avaya Aura
®
Device Services credentials, you might also need to enter
your SIP credentials.
6. When logging in for the first time, accept the software license agreement.
Avaya Vantage
™
displays the Home screen or the Dial pad screen of the built-in UC
experience depending on the settings configured by your administrator.
On subsequent device restarts, you are logged in automatically unless you manually log
out from Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.

with your SSO
About this task
If your environment supports OAuth-based authentication, you can log in to Avaya Vantage
™
and
the built-in UC experience using your enterprise Single Sign-on (SSO). In OAuth-based SSO, the
Login screen displays a Web-view based UI to enter your enterprise credentials. The login steps
might vary based on the setup your administrator configures.
