5.1 ASSKEA secretion aspirators S-series

Check the electrical plug connection.

Device is too warm; temperature
protection of the motor has been
triggered.
Allow the device to cool down; temperature protec-
tion automatically resets after cooling.

External bacterial filter polluted,

Replace the external bacterial filter.

Leak in the tubing system
Check that secretion canister lid and tubing connec-
tions are secure and no leakages are apparent.
Vacuum regulator (additional air
valve) not closed
Close the vacuum regulator (additional air valve)
(fig. 1(E)).

Manual overflow protection of the
reusable secretion canister system
is closed.
Check the fluid level in the secretion canister; empty
the canister.
Hydrophilic overflow protection of
the disposable secretion canister
system is blocked.
Replace the disposable liner ‘OneWay’.

Replace the external bacterial filter.
Integrated bacterial filter blocked
