MALFUNCTION
PROBABLE CAUSE

Electric starter inoperative
1. Loose electrical connections
1. Clean and re-tighten electrical
connections
2. Battery charge low or dead
2. Recharge battery or replace as
necessary
3. Faulty starter motor
3. Remove and replace or repair the starter
motor.
Engine turns over but will not
1. Engine is cold and choke is not pulled
1. Pull out the choke and try to start

2. Fuel tank is empty
