Installing the wireless card
1.
Locate the PCMCIA card slot on the target touch panel. On an NXT panel this can be done by lifting the
rear connector cover and accessing the connectors and card slot.
The Modero panel does not support hot swapping of the wireless card. Once a wireless network
card is inserted, it cannot be removed from the PCMCIA slot without locking-up the panel.
However, a card can be inserted into a running system and will be activated within a few seconds.

Grab the card by both sides and firmly insert it into the PCMCIA card slot. There is no audible reference
indicating it has been fully inserted .

Power on your panel and navigate to the Protected Setup > System Connection page to see if the panel
has detected the card (within the Wireless Settings section of the page).

Follow the procedures outlined within the Configuring a Wireless Access Connection section on page 53
to properly configure the wireless card for communication to a target WAP (such as the NXA-
WAP200G).
NXA-CFTP (FG2116-22)
Every Modero panel is shipped with two factory default modules: an EXM Memory module
(256 MB) and a Compact Flash card (128 MB) (
FG2116-22 ). Only the Compact Flash card can be
upgraded up to 1 GB for use by more graphic-intensive TPD4 files. The NXA-CFTP Compact Flash card
is factory programmed with specific panel firmware and can be upgraded to several sizes, up to 1 GB:
Upgrading the internal components on the CV17s involves opening the panel enclosure to access the internal
circuit board, removing and replacing the existing Compact Flash card with the upgrade.
