Restore
Backed up User Account and Configuration information can be restored with
the
Restore
section of the page. Information currently configured on the
KN1000 will be replaced with the information that you restore.
To restore a previous backup, do the following:
1. If a password was set when the backup was made, key the same password
that you used to save the backup file in the
Password
field. If a password
wasn’t set, you can leave this field blank.‘
2. Click
Browse
; navigate to the file and select it.
Note:
If you renamed the file, you can leave the new name. There is no
need to return it to its original name.
3. Select which parts of the backup you wish to restore:
Select the
All
radio button to restore both User Account and all
Configuration information
Select the
User Account
radio button to only restore User Account
information
Select the
User Select
radio button to choose which parts of the backed
up information you wish to restore, then click the checkboxes to
select/deselect the restore elements.
4. When you have made your selections, click
Restore
.
After the file is restored, a message appears to inform you that the
procedure succeeded.
