1. Click on Network > Advanced.
2. In the 802.1x block, select the desired protocol EAP-MD5 from the pull-down list of 802.1x
Mode.
3. Enter the user name for authentication in the Identity field.
4. Enter the password for authentication in the MD5 Password field.
5. Click Submit to accept the change.
A dialog box pops up to prompt that settings will take effect after a reboot.
5. Click OK to reboot the IP phone.
TR069 Device Management
TR-069 (Technical Report 069) is a Broadband Forum (formerly known as DSL Forum) technical
specification entitled CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP). It defines an application layer
protocol for remote management of end-user devices. As a bidirectional SOAP/HTTP-based
protocol, it provides the communication between customer-premises equipment (CPE) and
Auto Configuration Servers (ACS). It includes both a safe auto configuration and the control of
other CPE management functions within an integrated framework.
TR-069 is intended to support a variety of functionalities to manage a collection of CPEs,
including the following primary capabilities:
Auto-configuration and dynamic service provisioning
Software or firmware image management
Status and performance monitoring
