This section describes the instrument's calibration security system.

Security Overview

A security code prevents accidental or unauthorized instrument adjustments.

l

For models 33521A and 33522A, the security code is set to

AT33520A

when instrument ships from factory. For

all other models, the security code is set to

AT33500

.

l

Once you enter a security code, that code must be used for both front-panel and remote operation. If you secure
the instrument from the front panel, you must use that same code to unsecure it from the remote interface.

l

This setting is non-volatile; it will not be changed by power cycling or

*RST

.

l

Security code rules:
  Unquoted string up to 12 characters
  Must start with letter (A-Z)
  May contain letters, numbers (0-9) and underscores
