Multicast Router Configuration
If a multicast router is attached to the switch, its existence can be learned dynami-
cally. You can also statically configure a switch port as a multicast router interface.
Use the IGMP Snooping Multicast Router Configuration page to manually configure
an interface as a static multicast router interface.

4.4.8.5
Multicast Router VLAN Status
If a multicast router is attached to the switch, its existence can be learned dynami-
cally. You can also statically configure one or more VLANs on each interface to act as
a multicast router interface, which is an interface that faces a multicast router or
IGMP querier and receives multicast traffic.
Report Suppression
Mode
The IGMPv1 and IGMPv2 report suppression mode. The device uses
IGMP report suppression to limit the membership report traffic sent to
multicast-capable routers. When this mode is enabled, the device does
not send duplicate reports to the multicast router. Note that this mode
is supported only when the multicast query has IGMPv1 and IGMPv2
reports. This feature is not supported when the query includes IGMPv3
reports. The options are as follows:
Enabled: Only the first IGMP report from all hosts for a group
IGMP report is forwarded to the multicast routers.
Disabled: The device forwards all IGMP reports from all hosts in
a multicast group to the multicast routers.
