HYDRAULIC OIL TANK DRAIN OR REMOVAL (continued)
Follow the additional steps below to remove the hydraulic oil tank from the machine.
5
Remove the (5) screws holding the operator’s seat mounting plate onto its hinge. Then remove the seat
from the machine.
6
Remove the (2) screws holding the side broom speed control valve (located just to the right of the
hydraulic oil tank) in place. Push the valve down and out of the way.
7
Remove the recovery and solution tanks from the machine (see
Solution System
section for instructions).
8
Remove the elbow fitting from the side of the hydraulic oil tank.
9
Remove the lower-rear body panel from the right side of the machine.
10
Put a drain oil pan under the oil tank and remove the hose from the bottom of the tank. After the remain-
ing oil has drained, push the tank up and out of the machine from below.
11
Follow the instructions in reverse order to reassemble.
12
Pump the new oil through an automotive-type oil filter and into the hydraulic oil tank. Use only 10W-30
motor oil.
13
Run the engine for 5 minutes with all hydraulic motors off. This allows the new oil to be filtered before
passing through the motors.
