RECOVERY TANK REMOVAL

Drain the tank by removing the plug from the drain hose, located on the right side of the machine, below
the operator’s seat.

Remove the access panel from the left side of the operator’s compartment, loosen the clamp on the drain
hose and remove the hose from the bottom of the tank.

Open the engine cover and remove the (2) hoses from the back of the recovery tank.

On propane-powered machines only, remove the LP tank and its mounting bracket from the top of the
machine.

Lift the recovery tank off the machine (the tank is not bolted to the frame).

UPPER IMPELLER MAINTENANCE
The upper impeller is located in the upper-left corner of the engine compartment. Its shaft and bearings run in
a sealed housing, half-filled with 140W gear lube. The oil level in the housing should be checked every 30
hours of operation. Oil should be visible half-way up the sight glass (see Figure 5). If oil is low, remove the
filler cap to add oil.
Every 300 hours, drain the oil from the upper impeller shaft housing. Refill with
SAE
140 weight oil (half-way
up the sight glass).
Inspect the belt between the lower impeller shaft and the upper impeller shaft. Adjust tension or replace the
belt if necessary.
