Loosen bolts “J” and “K” (see Figure 7).

Push the alternator toward the engine and remove the belt from the alternator pulley.

Remove bolts “L” and “M” and pull the alternator away from its mounting brackets.

Pry the wire retainer off of the electrical connector and pull the connector out of the alternator. Remove
the alternator from the machine.
Follow the steps in reverse order to re-assemble.
