SQUEEGEE BLADE SERVICE
There are 3 rubber blades on the squeegee. The front blade increases the velocity of air entering the squee-
gee by forcing the air to flow through small slots. The middle blade wipes the water off the floor. The rear
blade supports the middle blade.
The blades work best when there is a sharp corner on the front edge of the middle blade. As the squeegee is
used, the edge of the front and the middle blades wear to a radius (see “A” on Figure 4). When this happens,
the blades can be removed from the squeegee weldment and turned up-side-down or flipped end-for-end to
put another sharp corner (like B, C or D) toward the front of the machine.
The blades should also flipped end-for-end or turned up-side-down if there is a nick or tear in the wiping edge
of the middle blade.
