ADJUSTMENT OF THE DEFLECTION
Then adjust the deflection using the Allen screws.
See the illustration.
To increase the deflection: turn the Allen screws clockwise.
To decrease the deflection: turn the Allen screws counter-
clockwise.
1. Allen screw and locknut

NOTICE:
Turn the Allen screws a quarter turn at a time and then turn the
secondary clutch to allow the drive belt to take its place in the
pulley. Verify the deflection and repeat if necessary.
Hold the allen screws while tightening the lock nut so as to not
upset the adjustment. Use adjustment tool (P/N 529 0087 00).
Hold the allen screws with the tool and tighten the nut with the
socket. Use the socket handle from the tool kit.
