Pannoramic 250 FLASH III 3.0.2 User’s Guide
7 Troubleshooting and Maintenance
Warning!
Crush hazard! Remember to stop the running digitization
process,
terminate the software session and turn power supply off before you
remove a jammed magazine (see chapter
).
Caution!
Check that the magazine is not tilted, so that it rests on both horizontal
guide rails.
2. If the magazine is in horizontal position, tilt the upper part of the horizontal magazine drive
plate
(4)
from the magazine loader unit far enough for the driving gear
(6)
to disengage
from the driving worm gear
(3)
.
3. Push the magazine on the guide rails
(2)
to the right to remove it from the transporting
system, as to the left the Adimec camera is on the way, blocking the path.
4. If the magazine is tilted because of twisted tappets
(1)
, first restore the tappets to their
initial position. They are correctly positioned if vertically aligned exactly one above each
other. Turn the gear
(5)
by hand, until the tappets are in their initial position again and the
magazine flatly rests on both horizontal guide rails.
Warning!
Danger of pinching! Turn the knurled wheel slowly with caution and
take care of your fingers!
Note:
Any manipulation performed on a mechanical component
(for
example, transporting system) by the user must be followed by a
complete Pannoramic® 250 FLASH III initialization routine (software
restart).
