The camcorder does not
power on when you press the
POWER switch
No battery pack is mounted and
no power is supplied to the DC IN
connector
Mount a battery pack (REF)
or connect a DC power
source (REF)
The blue light in the power
button does not turn on
when the camera is turned
on, powered by the battery.
Battery charge is low. Check the charge of the
battery. If empty, replace
the battery or connect an
external power supply.
The blue light in the power
button does not turn on
when the camera is turned
on, powered by an external
power supply.
External power supply is not properly
connected.
Make sure that the external
power supply is properly
connected to the camera,
a power cable is properly
connected to the power
supply, and the plug on
the other end of the cable
is properly inserted into a
power socket.
External power supply is not providing
power.
Make sure that the power
socket actually provides
power, for example by
connecting a laptop and
checking that the charging
light on the laptop is on.
