Viewfinder
indications
See below for an illustration of the
indications in the view finder.
NOTE
If the VIEWFINDER shows no picture and
the camera is on, then most likely the
HDMI output is activated (see “[HDMI]
HDMI” on page 14).
NOTE
If the VIEWFINDER shows a picture but no
indicators, then HDMI OSD is turned off
(see “[HDMI] OSD” on page 14)

1. Mode
LIVE
While recording or displaying live images
the camera shows LIVE mode.
PLAY
While viewing recorded clips, the
camera is shows PLAY mode.
2. Auto focus
The AF indicator is shown when auto-
focus is active (permanent or one-push),
otherwise the indicator disappears.
Use the AF button to switch between
modes.
Only one indictor is shown for both
sensors, since they are adjusted
simultaneously.
3. Auto exposure
The AE indicator is shown when auto
exposure is active, otherwise the
indicator disappears. Use the EXP button
to switch between modes.

sensors, since they are adjusted
simultaneously.
4. Vergence
The vergence distance in meter is shown
in the vergence indicator box, varying
from 0.5 m to infinity (INF), depending on
the zoom setting. Change the vergence
witch the VERGENCE button.
If the VERGENCE LOCK is engaged, then
the indicator is green (optics are still
converging) or red (optics are diverging
- reduce the zoom or increase the
vergence distance)
5. Exposure time
The exposure time is shown in the
exposure indicator box, varying from
1/25 to 1/500 of a second. Only one
value is shown for both sensors, since
they are adjusted simultaneously.
Change the exposure time using the
TOUCHSCREEN.
6. Zoom factor
The zoom factor is indicated as the
magnification value, varying from 1x to
12x. Only one value is shown for both
objectives, since they are adjusted
synchronously.
Use the ZOOM control to adjust the
zoom.
7. Iris
This indicator gives the IRIS f-number,
varying from f-number 1.6 to 23.6. Only
one value is shown for both objectives,
since they are adjusted synchronously.
If AE is off, then the iris can be adjusted
manually using the IRIS control. If AE is
own, then the IRIS f-number and gain
are adjusted to match the BRIGHTNESS
setting.
