Connectors
HEADPHONE output (10)
Use the 3.5 mm connector to connect
a stereo headphone. In PLAY mode you
can hear the recorded audio on the
headphone.

11.
ETHERNET port (11)
You can connect the camcorder to a
computer or a network using the Gigabit
(1000 Mb/s) ETHERNET port.
NOTE
To achieve full transmission speed
you should check that you are using
at least a Cat 5e, preferably a Cat 6
Ethernet cable. Transmission speed will
also depend on the type of computer/
network you are connecting to.
XLR inputs (20c)
20c.
21.
The two (left and right channel) XLR
inputs can be used to record audio
signals generated by equipment such as
microphones.
These ports are inputs and cannot be
used to connect a headphone.
CAUTION
PROVIDING 48V DC TO EQUIPMENT
NOT DESIGNED TO HANDLE 48V MIGHT
RESULT IN PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THAT
EQUIPMENT.
HDMI outputs (21)
There are two HDMI outputs, left and
right channel, providing directly the
signal of the left/right sensor.
When the VIEWFINDER is active (HDMI
on TOUCHSCREEN in OFF position - see
page 14) then the HDMI outputs
provide a 852x600 signal.
When the VIEWFINDER IS off (HDMI on
TOUCHSCREEN in ON position - see page
14) then the HDMI output provides the
same resolution as set on the sensor (see
Resolution page 13).
The HDMI output frequency depends on
the chosen frame rate (24/25/30/50/60
fps) and the corresponding setting HDMI
output frequency setting (see page
14). This setting allows to double the
output frequency with respect to the
sensor frame rate, which is sometimes
required to drive commercial monitors.
