5.3.7 Relays as limiting value indicators
Function The characteristics of the limit value indicator are defined by the set-
tings,
Climit , hysteresis and td. The fundamentals of the function are
described in the introductory chapter (see section 5.3.3).

Prevents frequent
switching for measu-
red values that are
close to the limiting
value.
Action Normally closed
Normally open Relay action (see
section 5.3.1)
Response with stop Active
Passive In Stop mode, the
relay switches to the
selected condition.
Also in the case of
AutoCal , AutoClean
etc.
Hold The switching condi-
tion remains
unchanged.
