4. Click the drop-down menu at the top of the Advanced Interface
and choose the type of transparency to scan.

Scan Slide Using to scan 35mm slides.

Scan Negative Using to scan 35mm negative filmstrips.
The Advanced Interface then shows a representation of the type of
transparency you are scanning.
Choose a transparency
scanning option:
Scan Slide Using:
for 35mm slides.
Scan Negative Using:
for negatives.
