FINAL INSTALLATION
LOG PLACEMENT
1. From the back side of the unit (with the controls on your
left) and holding log #1 in your left hand with the widest
end of the log away from you, place the log over the
pilot, making sure to locate notches in log over the
fi
rst
tine from left on the near side and the
fi
rst two tines from
the left on the front side of the unit.

2. While holding log #2 in your right hand with the wide end
of the log toward you and the
fl
at edge on the bottom
right, place the log over the right end of all three burners,
making sure to align the notches in the log with the
fi
rst
tine from the right on both the front and the rear grates.

3. Hold log #3 with the fat end to the right and the narrow
end to your left. Place the log over the key on the top
of log #2 closest to you making sure to align the bump
on the narrow end against the inside end of the second

tine from the left. Position log with the inside face of
the log perpendicular to the middle burner. There will
be a slight gap between the left end of the log and log
#1 (about 3/8 inch.)
4. Holding log #4 in your left hand with the beveled end
down, place the log on the key of log #1 closest to you.
Make sure to locate the notch at the beveled end of the
log over the third tine from the left. The inside edge of
the log should rest against log #3.
