6.  If light contact and paper cutting cannot be achieved, call technical support 

for further troubleshooting (see contact details at back of manual).  

 

The end goal is to have a consistent, clean paper cut across all blades with as little blade 
contact as possible. It will be normal for the blades to be louder after adjustment. If the 
blades can spin by hand, the blades are correctly adjusted.  
 

ADJUSTING THE BLADE BELT TENSION 

To adjust the blade tension:  

1.  Remove the tumbler and blade belt cover to gain access to the belt 

pulleys. 

2.  Loosen both bolts on the two idler pulley brackets. 
3.  Wedge a pry bar on the lower pulley to allow leverage to rotate each idler 

pulley bracket and increase the belt tension 

4.  Retighten the bolts on the bracket while holding the belt tight. 

When using 

a belt tension gauge, belt should read 8-12lbs.
