Note: Alignment tools (Part#: 11-10051A and 11-10052A) are available for purchase to
help set the lower rollers to the optimal position.
To reset Lower and Upper Radial Rollers:
THE LOWER RADIAL ROLLERS (3-6) MUST BE ADJUSTED BEFORE THE UPPER
RADIAL ROLLERS (7-10).
Note: The alignment tool (pictured above) is only used on the Lower Radial Rollers. The
“top” tool refers to the rollers on the upper bed knife, while the “bottom” tool is for rollers on
the lower bed knife.
1. Start by loosening the rollers.
Use a low-profile 1/4” hex wrench in the
center of the roller
.
Note: a torque wrench (product #: 14-10126) and offset socket adapter (product #: 24-
10165A) can be purchased from Keirton.
2. Take the “top” roller alignment tool, and place the magnet on the upper
bed knife:
a) Ensure the bed knife, roller and tool surfaces are clean.
b) Place the magnet on the flat surface close to the edge of the blade,
not the surface with the screw heads.
3. Slide the alignment tool over the roller. Ensure the roller is only contacting
the recessed face of the alignment tool.
Following steps continued on
next page.
4. Slide the roller up, hold firmly against the tool, and tighten the roller.
Repeat this process until all Blade Cartridge Rollers have been adjusted.
