IT IS RECOMMENDED TO KEEP A LOG OF HEPA FILTER PRESSURE
READINGS, IF THIS NUMBER CHANGES MORE THAN 0.25” OVER A WEEK
THERE COULD BE ISSUES WITH THE PRIMARY FILTERS.
7. Turn on the Pulse Jet and ensure compressor is supplying air to the
system:
a) Check the air lines for any leaks.
b) Check that the Pulse Jet Air Regulator is reading between 90 and
105 PSI.
Note: The Pulse Jet Air Filter will automatically drain or can be manually drained by turning
the grey fitting at the bottom towards “O”.
8. Remove the inlet ducting and check for material buildup on the duct walls.
If there is excess build-up, clean the ducts to improve airflow.
9. Upon reinstallation, ensure all ducting gaskets are properly seated in the
clamps. Check for cracks or any other damage.
LONG TERM MAINTENANCE
There is no scheduled maintenance required on the HEPA Filter Stack as long as the
filters are monitored and replaced when necessary.
When to replace filters:
•
Replace the Primary Filter when the pressure drop reads 5” W.C. after
cleaning.
•
Replace the HEPA Filter after 10 years or if the pressure drop rises
above 3” W.C.
