ADJUSTING BELT TENSION ON THE CONVEYOR

The conveyor belt will stretch slightly over time. If the conveyor stutters or jams it could be
caused by a loose belt.

To adjust the belt tension on the conveyor:

1. Spin the adjustment nuts at the end of the conveyor (the tensioning roller

side) to push the roller away from the conveyor.

Make sure to spin each

nut the same number of rotations to keep the roller parallel to the
rest of the conveyor.

Note: On the Feed Conveyor, the chute may need to be readjusted to fit snug around the
conveyor belt.

2. Turn the conveyor to ensure the belt stays in the center of the conveyor.

a) If the belt moves to one side the rollers are not parallel. Tighten the

belt on the side it is moving towards then retry.

ADJUSTING CONVEYOR SIDEWALL HEIGHT

The conveyor walls must have at least a 1/8” gap between the belt to prevent rubbing and
ensure longevity.

DO NOT LEAN ON CONVEYOR WALLS. LEANING ON CONVEYOR WALLS CAN

BEND THEM CAUSING INTERFERENCE.

To adjust the conveyor sidewall height:

1. Loosen the screw on the side of the collar to allow it to slide (see diagrams

on next page).

2. Move the collars on the support bars up or down.
