(c) If a blockage is present and could not be cleared, the following procedure will need to be
carried out.
i.
Remove the lamp assembly in accordance with Chapter 5, G.
ii. Remove the inner and outer cases in accordance with Chapter 5, I, (1).
iii. Clear the blockage and inspect for any moisture damage or fungal growth.
NOTE: If corrosion damage is present, contact Trakka Service Department for
advice on repair or reinstallation.
iv. Refit the inner and outer cases in accordance with Chapter 5, I, (2).
v. Refit the lamp assembly in accordance with Chapter 5, H.
(2) Cooling Fan (item 1)
(a) Check the fan is free of foreign objects.
(b) Inspect for damage to fan blades.
NOTE: Ensure the fan rotates freely without contacting the fan plate.
(3) Check fasteners (Figure 91, item 4)
(a) Ensure all fasteners are tight and secure by visual inspection of witness marks.
(4) Fairing assembly (Figure 90, item 1)
(a) Check that there are no cracks in the upper and lower fairing sections (item 2 and item 3).
(b) Check that seals are securely in place.
