(a)  Remove the lower fairing (Figure 93, item 3) in accordance with Chapter 5, C.
(b)  Check all fasteners for security by visual inspection of witness marks.
(c)  Check azimuth motor is secure (item 11)

Fasteners are tight between housing and gear box.

ii. Security of connector.

(d) Check azimuth cables and bonding straps.

Connectors are secure and free of corrosion.

ii. Bonding straps are not frayed.
iii. Check bonding strap fasteners.

(e) Azimuth drive shaft (item 7)

Inspect and clean.

(f) Azimuth spindle lock nut (item 10).

Ensure that grub screws are tight and secure by visual inspection of witness marks.

(g) Install the lower fairing in accordance with Chapter 5, C.
