H. Trakka Control Panel Functions

The functions of the TCP front panel switches and push buttons are described in Table 8 although

some may not be available depending on the TCP configuration (part number). The primary

function of each switch is described along with the alternative function (shown in brackets under

the switch description if available) which is enabled by holding the FILTER switch into the ENT

position. When alternative function selection is active the top right hand digit of the alpha-numeric
display will show the character.

Function

IR MODE LED

Illuminates to indicate that an IR filter has been selected.

Laser Switch

OFF position–laser pointer is OFF.

ON position–laser pointer is ON.

Laser LED annunciator will be ON if the laser pointer is powered

Alpha-numeric LED

Display

Displays system status, filter selection and error messages.

SYSTEM Switch

OFF position–system power is OFF.

ON position–system power is turned ON but the lamp is not armed.

ARM position–lamp is armed and is able to be turned ON.

STOW Switch

(SET STOW)

Primary Function:

Press this switch to STOW the searchlight. The lamp will turn OFF if

it has been left ON.

The STOWING status message will be shown on the alpha-numeric

display whist the searchlight is moving to the STOW position.

When in the STOW position the STOW LED annunciator will be on

Most switches will be inactive (see Modes of Operation)

Alternative Function:

NOTE: The system must be deployed prior to selecting the

following function

Hold the FILTER switch in the ENT position and press this switch to

set the current searchlight position as the new STOW position after

moving the searchlight to the required position.
