RICOH TotalFlow Path generates a URL from the host name or IP address of the print server, so you do
not need to specify one.
1. In TotalFlow Print Server, make sure that the [[JJM MFF]] network protocol is enabled.
See Enabling Protocols, p. 74 for instructions.
2. Edit the virtual printer where you want to submit the job and make sure that the values of [[JJoob b
ssuub bm miissssiioonn m meetthhood d]] include [[JJM MFF]].

3. To submit the job, use one of these URLs. You might have to experiment to find out which one
works for your program.
• Use this URL to submit the job to the default virtual printer:
http://
hostname
/webJmf/Device1
• Use this URL to submit the job to a specific virtual printer:
http://
hostname
/webJmf/Device1/
vpname

The host name or IP address of the print server.

The name of the virtual printer.
Submitting a Print Job Using LPR
You can use the
lpr
command to submit a job from any system where an LPR client is installed to
TotalFlow Print Server.
Before you use the
lpr
command, you must install the LPR client. Windows operating systems earlier
than Windows Vista do not support LPR.
To submit a job using the
lpr
command:
1. In TotalFlow Print Server, make sure that the [[LLPPRR]] network protocol is enabled.

2. Edit the virtual printer where you want to submit the job and make sure that the values of [[JJoob b
ssuub bm miissssiioonn m meetthhood d]] include [[LLPPRR]].

3. Open a command prompt.
4. Enter one of these commands:
• On Windows:
lpr -S
hostname
-P
vpname filename
