Energy flow calculation
Volume flow × operating density × specific enthalpy
• Operating density for saturated steam and water: depends on the temperature
• Operating density for superheated steam, natural gas ISO 6976 (contains GPA 2172),
natural gasAGA5: depends on the temperature and pressure
Calculated value
The unit calculates the mass flow, heat flow, energy flow, density and specific enthalpy
from the measured volume flow and the measured temperature and/or the pressure
basedon international standard IAPWS-IF97/ASME.
